Why is everything on my MacBook screen now blue after drop?

Hi, I dropped my macbook a few days ago. And luckily everything still works. But the problem is, everything on the screen now has a blue tint that makes the color looked distorted. Everything that's supposed to be white is now blue. Please help.

Answer this question I have this problem too

have you tried playing around the color setting?

other than that, a visit to an apple service center will fix this.

I have been trying to play with the color setting as best as I can but it still shows the blue tint. I don't know how to fix this.

you would have to visit the apple center to fix that.. I doubt the issue is just the LCD. It's possible the drop has damaged other components as well.

I personally think it is just the video cable of the lcd being loose but I haven't opened it yet.

by

I also just now just plugged it into monitor, and everything seems fine.

by

that would be plausible... let me know if you've been able to fix it.

If the screen shows only blue, then, probably, the video cable has moved and red and green signals are not getting through. Why don't you follow the Display Assy Guide to see if reconnection solves the problem.

Cheers!
