Why did my iPhone 7 become useless after screen replacement?

The screen on my iphone 7 shattered 2 months ago. The phone continued to work perfectly other than the shattered screen started to make the device difficult to use due to small pieces of loose glass kept calling out or giving me a splinter. I finally broke down & went to a place in the local mall to get a replacement screen called CellDoc (NEVER NEVER NEVER TAKE AN APPLE DEVICE TO ANYONE OTHER THAN AN APPLE TECHNICIAN!!) My iPhone is literally completely and totally useless ever since the day that incompetent man laid a hand on my iphone! What in the world could be possibly have done to destroy my phone when it was just a simple screen replacement? I took the phone back to have it fixed and all that happened is I can't even play a game in it now. The $650 phone isn't even able to be used as iPod at this point! Help?

I can understand your frustration. Can you explain a bit more of what the phone is and isn't doing now? After the screen replacement, do you have a display? Does the touch work? Does the fingerprint and home button work? Does Itunes see it? What IOS version are you running? I know there is an issue from your description, just not sure what issues you are having
