Can I Swap internals to a non broken housing
I have an IPhone 7 plus. The screen and housing is smashed and cracked beyond repair. I have photos of my family and other info on that device that has not been backed up and I need to recover it. My thoughts and plan would be to disassemble the broken iPhone completely, and swap the internals to another iPhone 7 plus... for example; I may buy an iPhone 7 plus that I found on Ebay for a cheap price, the iPhone from EBay is "locked"/"bad ESN"... So the question is, will swapping the internals from my smashed phone into the "bad ESN" IPhone from eBay create a working IPhone 7 plus? assuming that all is swapped correctly without damaging any parts... If not, will that idea work with a good working iPhone 7? Essentially I just want to swap my "hard drive" in to a new iPhone 7 plus
Is this a good question?

Have you tried going to icloud.com to see if the iPhone backed your photos online?

Do check your iCloud account like S W recommended first.
If the case is that damaged I fear your logic board is as well. Maybe the better way to get whats on the phone off is to send it to a recovery service or just try plugging in a new screen assembly to see if the phone is still alive before you go the the expense of a new case and all. Don't forget your home button needs to be transferred over too!
