In Minute : 08:59 He Scratch N1 PAD and dont make any jumper after.

My question is :

N1 pad is Ground, so why it is not necessary to make the jumper with any other ground pad???

Second question is : Anybody link me which tips use in this video.

I have many solderind tips but cant find like this ( which is the guy use in video) thanks a lot

He is removing the N1 pad because it is really close to the M1 pad and Via he is jumping it to.

There are already 31 other ground pads on Meson and I guess he feels it is safe to remove to make room.

Personally, I do not remove any pads and like to use UV Soldering mask to hold my jumper still and to protect M1 from grounding (Bridging).

As for the tips he is using, I am not sure. I like to use the Hakko FM-2032 Micro pencil for most of my small soldering needs.

When it comes to tools, and Tips... I think you would be okay purchasing what works for you and in your budget. I started out with just the standard iron and the finest tips I could find and used a small file to make them into what worked for me (And it worked).

I think running the M1 Jumper is needed on all 6 plus repairs even if not lifted or corrosion for insurance and longevity of the repair. You will find what works for you by trial and error. But keep watching the videos and use what you like from different techniques.

Best of luck!
