I dropped my laptop off of my bed and now the screen is black.

My laptop fell off of my bed and now the screen is black. The keys still light up and the booting up noise is still there. The screen is lit, but it’s black. I’ve tried the PRAM reset and also the command/shift/option/power reset (could have mixed some of those up). Does anyone have any suggestions before I go to the Apple store?

Reconnect the LCD cable logic board side and screen side, if the first reconnection does not resolve this (will have to remove the lid from the MacBook, slide the hinge cover off, remove the wifi antenna and then you can reconnect it). Very common problem which is always solved by doing this.
