Why do I have blue edges around the screen and...?

So it's been a month, maybe two or so from this screen replacement I have done myself and I'm actually curious is why I have these blue edges around the screen? It feels like it's extending slowly towards the middle of the screen.

Also, how do I avoid getting these white spots?

Am I applying too much pressure? The connectors aren't connected properly? or just a defective screen?

I have been buying these screens from eBay in Australia where I am currently from. and on the back of the screens plate, they have a stamped a chinese logo. Should I consider looking at another seller or are most commonly stamped from sellers?

It's pretty difficult to see the picture clearly but definitely a poor quality screen from the Light leaks and blue around the edges. I've not seen the blue around the edges like that before and would guess they are refurbished screen replacements. The white dots look like Large dead pixel areas. I would definitely recommend changing your screen provider. The cost of screens now are only in the $25 to $50 range so to save a few $$$ on a screen replacement doesn't sound like a good idea here.

Thanks Michael for your response, I'll see if I can take another closer picture.

I believe the screen is poor so I think I should look into another seller. Much Appreciated.

Anytime :) Good Luck!

Hey Michael,

I have uploaded another pic to help. If you can look closely, there's light blue faded edges with white spots.
