iPhone 6 not turning on, full black screen

Hi guys!

So, here's the thing. I have changed a logic board in my iPhone.

It didn't turned on, fine, i thought the battery was dead because it hadn't been turned on for half a year. I bought a battery, replaced it, put the phone on charge and voilá it turned on, everything seemed fine.

Some later, i put the phone into DFU mode to upgrade it, my computer didn't want to see the phone, i thought i need the original cable and that should be the problem, turned off the phone, disconnect the cable, new cable, back to the phone aaaand bootloop...

I disconnected the cable and then it always turned off immadiately, and after 1-2 times everything went black, since then nothing, no battery charging status, no DFU, no bootloop, just a black screen.

My think is that the battery is not original and has a problem, but I don't want to make stupid of myself in the shop if there is another problem.

Hi Attila. There are a lot of moving parts here so it's hard to know what works and what doesn't. The hardest part of troubleshooting is eliminated when working with known good parts. So why did you change the logic board (btw, did you also transfer the Home Button)?. Does the original logic board work, even a bit? If it does, you could try that one to see if there is any difference. What about the screens? Does the original work?

At this point, you would need to access a known working device and try things one at a time to see what works and what doesn't. You may have also accidentally damaged the screen, battery or logic board during your repairs. How confident are you in your work. I mean no offence but is this your first time or are you experienced?

I wish I had a simple answer...but get back to me on my questions and let's take it from there.

Hi Minho!

Thanks for your reply! This wasn't the first iPhone I have repaired.

The story is that my mother gave me a broken iPhone 6 which from I had to take out the motherboard, she asked me to save the photos from it (no icloud was on it). I bought a used broken motherboard iPhone 6, took out the faulty motherboard and the battery. I have put my mother's motherboard and a brand battery.

First, it has started when it has been plugged into charging, but after some minutes later it has started bootlooping. I have unplugged the cable and then it went black and never turned on again.

I thought maybe the not original battery is the problem, so I took it back and changed it, but not that was the problem.

My second thought is that the U2 chip is dead, but I wouldn't take it to service because it doesn't worth that much. :D
