Correct Battery APN# for a iPhone 5s

I'm on the process of changing my old battery on my phone (APN: 616-0720). I would like to know if there is any concerns about using a replacement battery with a different APN (616-0718).

Should work fine. My iPhone 5s battery APNs are currently: 616-0721. I think batteries between 0718 and 0721 should work fine.

I think the only thing to worry about is if the battery has the right connector and mAh capacity.

Ok, I think I'm just a little parano since the last battery I bought has some problems with the % gauge

Those issues usually occur from cheap aftermarket batteries or refurbished ones.

You're probably right. I've managed to get a new battery (616-0728) and everything is working fine now !

My iPhone 5s current APN 616-0722 upon replacement using APN 616-0728 become worst performance ( always restart after few minutes).

Random reboot after battery replacement generally points to pry damage above the battery connector.

Above the battery connector has 4 little smd components and the third one counting from the left is crucial as if this damaged or missing you'll get the symptoms as said above.

You'll need to get the component replaced via someone that does micro-soldering if that is the case.
