Touch Screen not working (iPhone 5s)

I replaced the battery and the screen with digitizer of course. The phone charges and powers on but when you get to the lock screen and try to enter the pass code. The screen doesnt respond to my touch. At one point if i pressed hard enough the number 2 would be entered but i dont want to break the newly replaced screen. HELP ME PLEASE

It is possible you have a defective replacement screen. To confirm whether this is the case or not, try re-installing your original, cracked screen if it was still functional. While you're doing this, take a close look at the screen connectors and the connectors on the logic board to see if they are damaged or have debris that could impede electrical contact.
