Released on September 19, 2014, this 4.7" screen iPhone is the smaller version of the iPhone 6 Plus. Identifiable by the model numbers A1549, A1586, and A1589.
John Sesody you did not tell us if you enabled Siri in the Settings tab. If Siri is enabled then it is possible that there is dirt etc. in your microphone or there is something blocking it. You can use a cotton swab with some isopropyl alcohol to clean it. If that still does not work try to see if Siri works with a headset. If so it is possible that your mic has failed.
