Why is my USB connector not working on my Acer Iconia Tab 8 Windows

I think that the USB port is loose or pushed down i don't know I left it to charge one night and it didn't and now it's competely out of power what do i do?

Hi @blackheart ,

Just verifying that you have an Acer iconia W3-810 and that you are connecting the charger (AC mains adapter) to the DC-In power port (#6 in image below) in the tablet as a loose USB port should not prevent a tablet from charging.

Do you get any indication that the tablet is charging?

If not first try checking that the charger works by connecting a DMM (Digital Multimeter-Voltmeter function) across the output plug of the charger and confirming that there is 12VDC available. (if you don't have a DMM do you know anyone who has one and might be able to test the charger for you?)
