Tablet Screen Flickers On And Off Everytime I Open An App
Am I getting the infamous battery connector defect? Where the terminal for the battery on the motherboard is microscopically flawed making the system not have enough power for heavy loads but can run normally while idle? Or is it something else? It was doing fine when I was reading stuff on it and when it got to around 20% it started flickering on and off, tried charging it up to 70% but it still happens and won't go away, I don't think it's the battery itself as it is discharging normally and I don't see any drastic dips or jumps in battery life.
UPDATE: I replaced the flex cable that connects the screen to the motherboard and there is no difference so I can rule that out.
UPDATE 2: Tried replacing the battery with the one in my other unit and I think I may have put a little too much stress when I yanked out the connector from the terminal and now the screen just flickers non-stop, will go to a repairman with steady hands tommorow to re-solder the joints on the battery terminal to the motherboard, will update with news.
UPDATE 2: Tab is now conpletely dead.
Is this a good question?
