have I killed it with a spoon?

I was half asleep this morning and like an idiot I left a spoon in my Nutribullet cup! At first I wondered what the horrible grinding noise was but switched it off immediately noticed the rattling sound coming from the cup and discovered a teaspoon so twisted Uri Geller would be jealous. Removed the spoon and put the cup back in the bullet but the grinding noise is still there. The blades are looking a little chipped but I can see no other damage. Can I do anything to fix it?

its more than likely a problem with the motor as i dont think they were designed to blend spoons lol.

Sadly I suspect you’re right... doesn’t do much for the flavour either! ;)

@streeps run the blender with a different empty cup. If the noise is still there it's the motor. If the noise is gone it's the blades. Your blender can be fixed by using these guides NutriBullet rx

not sure how a different cup helps as they are all the same diameter; however I tried it this morning and to judge by the smoke that is now issuing from it I'd say it was definitely the motor! :( thanks for the link to the repair guides :)
