voice mail issue, no voice mail when it tells me I do

I recently purchased a 3G 8gig its unlocked I use a T mobile sim card the phone works fine. when I turn the phone off overnight then turning it on the next day it tells me I have a voice mail, but when I check I have no voice mail

just a minor glitch I guess

I'm assuming you are running 3.1? Well, I would recommend a restore and rejalbreak. Do you know how to edit your APN settings yourself? If you can then I would edit the APN settings to T-Mobile's most up to date settings if you dont want to restore. Just Google APN settings for iphone and follow the instructions.
