I have have put in tape wrong way, now it won't open
I must have put in 8mm film in wrong way. I just it down and now it won't pop open to release tape.
Is this a good question?

I don't think this will work, but you can try it
camcorder.
2. Remove the battery from the camera.
3. Remove the AC power supply from the camera.
4. Slide the power switch on the camera to the VTR, VCR or CAMERA mode for 60 seconds.
5. Slide the power switch back to the OFF position.
6. Connect the AC power supply to the camera.
7. Attempt to open the cassette compartment.
