My speakers are blown out, is there anything I can do myself to fix it

Hi, so my laptop has been being stubborn with me.. I've had it for so long. And its still in good working condition only thing is that everytime sound comes out of it, its really crackly and just sounds very bad. Can anyone help?

for mine i have a chromebook and there is no sound coming out when its not muted i mean i try to turn it up but i doesnt and i think the something happend to the speakers because when i put my head phones in every single bit of soud stop and ive tried everything. BTW im typing on my chromebook because the sound is the only thing wrong.

Hi!

To replace your speakers, follow this guide until the part when you have to take out the battery. Only then will you have full access to the speakers and the cables. We don't exactly have a guide on how to replace the speakers themselves, but I think you are smart enough to figure it out yourself... just unscrew them, disconnect all cables from the motherboard, install the replacements, put everything back together and that's it.
