replaced glass and digitizer now phone just showing a grey screen

I can connect to iTunes but phone just wont turn on. I've checked cables 1,2 and 3 numerous times still just get a dim gray light when I go to turn it on helppppp

Options

YOu may have damaged the LCD, or LCD circuitry. Try replacing the LCD first. Make sure it is the correct one for your phone. (3g or 3gs)

thanks i did that works fine now. but ive cracked my screen again an will have to open the dam thing up again :(
