Videos Do Not Play / Sound Lag

I have an iPhone 6 with a very specific problem. The phone was bent a while back and since I couldn't get a replacement I had to bend it back slightly. There is still a small bend in the device.

- Any video I play (youtube, snapchat, istagram, etc) will freeze immediately and after 5-10 seconds it will start playing without sound. (Speaker not working)

- I cannot make or receive calls (I cannot hear them). Speakerphone can be pressed but won't work.

- Sometimes my volume will toggle from silent to low volume back and forth without me switching it. When it toggles, the screen wont work for around 5 seconds (until the volume icon goes away).

- I cannot play music at all externally (headphones work as well as bluetooth)

I do not have any of the above problems if I use headphones/bluetooth headset.

This basically told me the issue was with the external speaker, however, I bought the speaker + kit and replaced it, same issue.

What else could it be?

Do you have any pictures of the bend?

the bend is hardly noticeable by eye, its just a tad uneven when laying on the desk. I have heard it could be the Sound IC on the logic board.

I would suspect the logic board due to the bend. The logic board is physically fixed to the housing so any bend to the housing gets transferred to the logic board. This kind of flexing can cause solder balls under the IC's to crack. Seeing as how the problems are all related to sound, the the Audio IC is a prime suspect.

A reflow (I generally don't recommend), a reball or even a replacement are possible solutions. This will require micro-soldering and is not a DIY repair unless you have the proper tools and experience.
