LCD won't display iMac

After switching my imac hard drive and putting back together all worked well apart from the fact I had forgotten to plug in the temp sensor for the hard drive in so the fans were spinning loud

So I took it apart and re assembled the imac however there was no display but a chime. Upon further inspection I found I had damaged the display connector on the logic board and the LVDS cable.

So I replaced the LVDS cable however no luck so I assumed the damage to the logic board was the problem. I then bought a new logic board from a seller on ebay as is was cheaper then getting the connector resoldered at a repair shop.

However after switching the cpu and gpu into the new board the problem remained: no display but a chime.

I then realised the problem may be the gpu as is common on these models of imac. So I then ordered a mini dp to hdmi cable to see if it would display on my TV (of which it did success fully)

I am now very stuck as I'm not sure what the fualt is, the display was working fine before without a dead pixel in sight. Before suggestions of reseting SMC ect I have already tried this and I have further checked if the backlight is the issue but there is no display at all

What should I do now?
