How to fix TV Display with white bars?

Hi there,

I have a Samsung UE60JU6800KXXC TV.

The display has a white bar on the left.

See here....https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B617jhU...

I have replaced the TCON board & the main av board ... twice.

However when replacing the main av board I can't get the exact same model number....all boards I get of ebay.co.uk end in KXXU. The board I need to replace end in KXXC.

Is my TV a right off?

Thanks

steve

Thanks OldTurkey. That makes sense as I've replaced all the boards and also on my Samsung S7 I can see the screen working correctly.

I will youtube "failed gate drivers" but where can I get the parts to repair?

Those are usually part of the panel. The logic boards that are attached to the panel via thin ribbon cables are the drivers etc.

steve this does not look like a board error, it is a panel error. Looks like failed gate drivers on the panel itself. You can check the panel and see if there are obviously failed component but ultimately it appears that you will need to try to find a replacement.
