Cracked screen went black, help!

So cracked the bottom of the screen, was working just fine for a couple months, then all of a sudden the screen went black. Still vibrates, gets texts, and calls. Is there any way to fix this yourself or am I better off getting another phone?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey so we actually tried to fix it ourself and it works now! We just removed the two screws on the bottom to pop off the screen and popped the battery out and then back in, and bam it went on! We had issues too like the home button wasn’t working either so we couldn’t do a reset.

Bad LCD. Since the phone is still vibrating and getting calls and texts, then you know the phone is still working under the hood. A new screen assembly should take care of the problem.
