Flex Cable (Home Button) - original?

Hi there!

I bought a used IP5s some weeks before.

I disassembled it and it looks like the home button is a replacement part.

There aren't any capacitor/resitor on the cable, it looks exactly like that one:

The manufacturer label says "SU".

The originals should looks more like this (and should read "HK"), right?

Is this correct, I mean - maybe there are more than just one producer and the cables had a revision? Is my cable an original one (i cannot test touch-id because of some other issues at the moment).

It doesn't really matter because each home button is paired with the logic board. Once you break it, you can either put an aftermarket replacement or even an original one from another device but it will only work to click, meaning no Touch ID. Seller should have disclosed that.

in my case it DOES matter! the flex of the home button is torn off, i can repair it, but it is many many hours of work, it is only woth it, if it is an original one - not a aftermarket one ;)

Well you already said it doesn't have any components...clearly it is not the original HB. Don't waste your time trying to fix it. You should add a picture (add it to your question) so we can see what you're up against. Repairing a flex is not an easy repair and can be literally impossible if it's torn too close to the actuator.
