lid locked wont unlock
wont wash load. it starts then stops and add a garmet light stays on and the lid wont unlock

Most washers will have a manual release to unlock the mechanism and allow you to open the door or lid. The release is normally accessible from below the door lock, or on some models, from inside the soap dispenser housing.

If the lid locked in a mid cycle and won't unlock there is a reason why. Possible reasons, faulty door lock, faulty actuator, pump not draining water, and possibly a power failure. Any of these things could cause this issue. First try to unplug the machine for 5 minutes then plug back in. If possible lower the drain hose into a bucket and drain the wash water this can also trigger t unlock the lid/ door. If faulty lock, actuator, pump or control you will need an experienced service person to properly repair.
