iPhone 3G can't find any WCDMA network in area with good coverage

Iphone 3G can't find any WCDMA network in area with good coverage, but with GSM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all is ok. Don't know what to do - change software versions, it doesn't help, may be problem with antenna or umts tranceiver?

iPhone 3G does not support WCDMA, only GSM. iPhone 4 Verizon does.
