Screen split and half is stuck in phone.

I removed the screen, or tried to, so I could replace it. When I pulled it up with the suction cup, it split into 2. Almost like it peeled apart. The clips on the side all broke off. Now the rest of the display is stuck in the phone and I can’t figure out how to get it out. It’s almost like it’s glued in.

Help please!

Take a look at the last picture of Step 43 of this guide. It will show you how the screen is assembled. It sounds like the digitizer separated from the plastic frame. Or perhaps the plastic frame separated from the metal clips. Either way, you they are only held in by clips along the side of the housing. You should be able to pry this out. Just be careful not to damage anything else, especially the logic board.
