Try to connect a monitor to it. Do you get a signal?

If you shine a flashlight on the screen, can you see any faint image there? Sometimes just the back light circuit goes out. It can be hard to see, but I have seen a few like that.

I don't understand your term roasted. Please elaborate on what you are seeing. Did anything happen it it like a drop or spill? SW was talking about attaching an external monitor.

I thought I had posted photos of the screen let me try that again. It has various blue colored lines vertical. It has not been dropped and nothing spilled. I will try an external screen and see what happens .I had not tried that. If that works does that mean the logic board is ok ??

If an external monitor works, it generally eliminates the logic board as the problem.
