Won't turn on NOR can I get a SD ard back in.

So I vlog. I was filming a clip and my battery was dying, I stopped, switched batteries and switched SD cards for a bit. Well I turned on my camera to make sure that battery worked and put in the new SD card and I could push it in a bit but not all the way. Thought maybe because it was broken that's why it's fighting me. Put in the previous card and still nothing. Then I tried to turn my camera on and NOTHING. I even charged a battery just in case that was the problem but no luck. So right now it won't turn on nor can I get a SD card to go in all the way. What do I do? Thankfully I go back up cameras so I don't miss vlogging. I was near a hide-a-key box at the time. Not sure if that affected the problem or not.
