in lockscreen I can't swipe left For pics. screen blacks

I dropped my phone not too long ago. Now when I try to swipe to my camera from a lock screen I get zero response. Swiping works in all other situations... except sometimes I have to swipe flatter or harder to get a response. Also while browsing phone will black as if it's been flipped upside down and return if I angle it about. This is occurring in FB mostly even as I'm hold phone in a mostly fixed position.

Options

Because this happened shortly after the phone dropped, I would suspect a damaged LCD. The problem (camera from lock screen) requires an edge swipe whereas normal use only requires touch in the middle of the screen. Check the LCD by edge swiping from different areas.

The only real thing to try is a replacement screen, preferably known-good. Follow this guide to replace.
