LED display screen is cracked, is it worth trying to fix?

This TV was gifted to me and I want to try to fix it. I can fix the TV, problem is finding a replacement screen for a TV this size.

I've searched online for a replacement but these big parts appear extinct.

I live in Oakland, CA, any places near me selling screens like a TV parts shop, electronic parts collector, or something?

Also, I'm not against disassembling and individually selling parts or selling the whole lot.

Suggestions?

@greenfiremonkey the size of the display is it biggest draw back. It will be difficult to find a replacement. the only thing I'd do is to try to scrounge pawn shops etc, to see if there is one that is broken other than the screen. Then harvest the screen from the replacement. Is it worth it? Depends on if you can store it and wait to see if you can find a panel. Otherwise sell the boards individually and discard the rest in an appropriate manner.
