How many milliamps is the flash unit LED?

This is sort of an off the wall question - I was planning on using the flash LED unit from an iPhone 6 as part of another project (assuming I can dissect it out properly), and I am trying to figure out how many milliamps of power the LED uses/can take - how would I go about figuring this out?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Kristian Brevik interesting question and unless someone can get their hands on the specs for the camera module or measure the actual output while using it, it will be difficult to give you the absolute correct information. Agilent flash modules used in cellphone use ~180mA for a pulse and no more than ~80mA for continuous operation.
