Hello everyone,

How can I fix my Display Problem with a lot of VERTICAL colourful lines all over my display. (OS X 10.6.8) Everything else works.....

First of all what is the issue (I think it is the display itself - but how can i be sure)
Any ideas how I can fix it quick and dirty ;-) ..... it is an old iMac and I don´t think it´s worth it to spend to much money on it.....

Options

First thing to do it to open it up and examine the capacitors (cans) for swelling and/or leakages.
