Vertical black lines appear on screen.
I've never dropped my phone it's in an Otter box case and I haven't even had it for a month.

Big chance that there was enough pressure applied to the screen to cause the issue.
I'm going to assume that a restart did not help at all. I would also say to re-seat the cable, but unlike the other J7's this screen cable is on the front end of the frame.
I would probably seek warranty and exchange for a possible faulty screens. If exchange doesn't happen, you can always replace the screen.
