Can't get in my car.

Accidentally left my lights on and now my doors won't electrically unlock from the key. I can't use the key on the door itself cause my driver side door handle is broken. (I usually climb thru.) No key hole on passenger door or trunk either. Can I get in without breaking a window?

Have you called a local police or tow truck company to see if they can open the door for you?

If that fails you’ll likely need to get the car towed to a Kia dealer. They may have a way to get the door opened or gain access to the hood to jump the battery.

I haven't yet. I was going to but I thought about trying to do it myself. But I can't think of anyway. Thanks for the answer

I feel your pain :-{

Last winter my battery died in my Kia Soul. As I hadn’t used the key for so long the key just wouldn’t open the door. No biggy I thought, going to the passenger side WHAT! No lock on this side! Boy a big bummer.

There I am in a snow storm trying every trick I know of to get the door to open. I think I got frostbite in the process! I ended up using a torch to heat the key in the process I killed the clicker at least I had a second key! Got my jump and was able to get a new battery.

Remember to exercise your locks and feed them some good lube before the winter! I learned the hard way.
