Vizio D39h-c0 has black screen, led backlights working

I have a vizio D39h-c0 that's has a black screen. The led backlights are working fine. I replaced the main board which is the only board I see besides the long circuit board at bottom leading to led lights. That didn't do the trick. I've read about possible T-con board or other boards but I'm not seeing any other boards in the tv and the main one has been replaced. Any ideas?

Yes I have checked and it appears all is connected and nothing appears damaged

I'm getting the same result. Sound, backlights, and my screen is blue. Not bright blue, but blackish blue.

=== Update (06/18/2018) ===

I have one the same way. Sound, backlights work. Remote turns it on and off. Screen isn't cracked. New board. Still black screen.

by

Anyone figure this out, remote turns off and on, but only result is a blackish blue screen. .

Same exact issue here, boards and capacitors all look ok. Did you ever figure it out?

Did anyone else here begin experiencing this after connecting an AppleTV? I was setting up my entertainment center in the home we just moved into. Connected my AppleTV 4K and had visuals as expected until suddenly the screen went black same as described here. LEDS are on but displaying only black. Can not see anything else. No output from AppleTV and no overlays when trying to get a source or setting menu to appear with TV remote. Do I need to consider this TV broken and in need of replacement?

eimaj711 post some pictures of the boards in your TV. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question

It is possible that your T-con board is actually part of the power board. That would be my number one suspect even before the main board.

Update (09/18/2017)

Yes it is. the complete board is a Vizio 3639-0182-0150 Main Board/Power Supply which has actually everything on it. T-con, main and power board in one.

I replaced the main board and still no luck, so I'm not sure what the fix would be from here unfortunately. Since everything is included in the one board, I would think a replacement would do the trick. The LED backlights are working fine and I can clearly seem them on, so I eliminated that piece of it.

Have you checked the ribbon cable going to the screen to make sure it is not damaged and properly connected on the other end?

by

I just replaced the ribbon as well and still getting the same result. With this tv only having a single board and the led's are all working I'm at a loss of what the issue could be.

by

Since you replaced the board with a new one as well as the cable, the problem will lie at the panel. Where does the ribbon cables connect to? Post some images of that.

by

The problem is in the tcon board located on top of the panel where the ribbon is plug..you have to check if there's any ceramic capacitors shorted or transistor but I'm pretty sure is the big ic auo located next to the ribbon..put Ur finger to it and u will see it's getting hot..change it and u will be good to go
