Replaced 13.3" LCD. LCD displays images but no red color?

I replaced a cracked LCD with a new one. Fired up the Mac after replacement to find that images dispaly in color with the exception that it appears there's no red in any image. Any idea what I might have done wrong to cause this problem?

is the part number on the old LCD the same as the part number on the new LCD?

possible incompatible part. may need to replace LCD with one with the same part number as original.
