Sticky keys on laptop

I was wondering the best way and safest way to clean the keys and underneath them without possibly breaking a plastic part in the process. This laptop was going to be recycled because of the AMD graphics issue. rescued it and had it running for a few hours. Now works great. Just sticky keys and it bothers me a lot.

Thanks

To remove and clean the keys:

To clean keys without removing them, just use a towel or rag with some isopropyl achohol and brush them over the keys. To clean under the keys, Use your finger or a flathead screwdriver and GENTLY lift them off the keyboard by rotating your finger/ screwdriver, and prying the key off. Now you can clean your keys individually.

Hope this helped.

I am just trying to prevent breaking of the old and fragile keyboard plastics. I worry about the mechanism.
