Why won't my MacBook Air turn on?

I left my computer unplugged overnight and tried to wake it the next morning. It was completely dead and would not start up when plugged in or not. The battery is fully charged, and still no response.

Unplug the mag-safe adapter. Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds. This failing, unplug the battery from the logic board, press and hold the power button for five seconds. Plug it back in and attach the mag-safe. At this point you should get a spontaneous reboot. Run your virus check program. If it won't start the next time, do the battery trick then hold down the option key while booting, select the repair partition and then run Disk Utilities.
