iPod won't work plugged it computer, but does in in my car

my ipod works in my car, but soon as u unplug it, it turns off strait away, if i plug it into my computer it flashes the itunes logo and does not turn on. It works fine plugged in my stereo im my car thats it.

Lindsay, it does sound like a battery problem to me. It probably works on your car charger since it applies a higher charge. Also, when you plug it into your computer, try to avoid a hub and use the USB port that comes right of the motherboard, on a pc that is usually the ports in the back, not sure about Mac's.
