replaced iPhone 6s screen. Not very crisp or clear the screen..

Hi,

I have just replaced the iPhone 6s screen. And the replacement screen doesn't look clear and crisp at all. There are slight vertical lines going down the screen Slightly grey/ and black the lines about half a centimetre thick. Is this a faulty replacement?

From what you describe, it is most likely a damaged ribbon flex or connector issue. Verify there are no bent or damaged pins on the connectors, debris, etc... connect the LCD without putting it back together...and while holding it carefully so you do not disconnect the connector while powered on (Can cause backlight damage to connect or disconnect while powered on) see if it clears up.

Do you have the old screen to test with? If old screen works and new one doesn't, most likely a bad replacement part or damaged Flex or connector.
