now it does not power on

I replaced the charging connector cable on my Galaxy s6 now it does not power on. At first screen flashed like it wanted to power on then dies. I charged it red led goes green when fully charged, try turning on nothing. Blue status led flashes...but phone does not turn on. Any thoughts what can it be?

Honestly sounds like the LCD got cracked when you had to lift it. Only other thing I could think of is that there is a component on the board that went bad/damaged

Because of the screen flash I agree with elliot, thats exactly what a damaged screen will do.

The comments above are right on it. Noticeable life in the unit, screen flash, LED lights displaying. You have to get a new LCD/Digitizer for the unit.

Yep screen got physically damaged after lifting it up to replace the charging daughter board.

I generally lift up the charging board, shield the surrounding components carefully and replace the charging port using a rework station with soldering.
