Flashing white screen after battery replacement

Replaced battery in iPhone 6. Plugged it in to power with original Apple cable/charger, and all I get is the white screen with black apple logo. Comes on for a few seconds, goes black, comes on again. Over and over again. Have tried holding power/home button, plugging in to computer (iTunes does not recognize), and reseating battery. Do I need another new battery?

Chosen Solution

iPhone is not properly recognising the battery.

Reseat / Replug the battery cable and try turning it on again.

If it still does the apple boot loop then you have a bad replacement battery.

Thanks, Ben! I didn't have the battery seated quite right, so reseating it worked.

Hi Michael, I selected "Yes" yesterday about two hours before your comment and thanked Ben for his advice. Is there something more I need to do to "select" his solution? This is my first post here, so I'm still finding my way. I certainly do want other members to know what worked.

Connect to computer, if the iTunes doesn't recognize, press and hold the power button and Home button at the same time until you see the Apple Logo.
