Laptop suddenly shut down. No longer turns on.

A little while ago my laptop suddenly shut down (Acer Aspire M581-TG). It wasn't overheated and i wasn't pushing it hard.

Now its a brick. It doesn't do anything. Cannot turn on, does not recognise being plugged in, no LED lights where plugged in. Just a dead slab of computer.

So far i have tried a different AC adaptor. When this is plugged a green light appears on the block so i assume this is working (i have used this power adaptor in the past with this laptop, no issue). Laptop does not respond.

I disconnected and reconnected the battery. No response.

I really have no clue what is wrong with it. I gave up on a while ago but now i really want to know what is wrong with it!
