My Samsung notebook is not charging

My Samsung N130 Notebook, shows plugged in 100% Charged, but the notebook shuts off immediately the AC adapter is unplugged. Also the charging light indicator is flickering between green and red.

I have bought a new battery and tried in the laptop, same problem.

N/B - Green is meant to indicate a fully charged battery

Red is meant to indicate an non full battery
