Home Button Flex Cable Does Not Snap or Click to LCD Flex Connection
Hello everyone!
Not to long ago I decided to start repairing iPhone' because I have replaced so many of my own personal screens that I thought I could make a small business out of this. So far so good...but now, out of all the screens that I have dealt with I have never had much problems until I had to replace a cracked screen on a iPhone 7 plus. Out of the last 4 iPhone 7 plus repairs I've attempted, I've had to turn 4 of my customer away because the Original Home Button did not want to mate/marry/ connect to the flex cable connection of the new screen located on the bottom right of the screen.
When I put back together the old cracked screen, the home button snaps into place, working perfectly. But with my supplied new screens they don't want to connect.
Has anyone had this problem before?
I have talked to my supplier but they cannot seem to get a me a legitimate answer to what is going on with the screens they provide me. I don't want to force it because of the risk of damaging the home button and having a mad customer.
I am NEW to this field, so please bare with me. Any feed back would be great! :)
Is this a good question?
