Power it directly from the motherboard

Hey guys!

I have a MacBook Pro A1286 - 2009 and I want to power it directly to the logic board with a normal laptop charger.I've analyzed the schematics and I cannot find a blank pin where I can solder the power wires directly.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I think you are far lees likely to fail if you do your connection via the the DC-IN board:

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Late 2008 and Early 2009 DC-In Board Replacement and there's much less of a chance of damaging the expensive logic board:

MacBook Pro 15" Unibody (Late 2008-Early 2009) MagSafe DC-In Board

The board doesn't need to be replaced.I just want to test the notebook without a charger.I don't want to buy a charger without knowing if it works.
