Ice maker makes ice, but the dispenser motor doesn't engage or turn

The ice maker makes ice perfectly and drops into the dispenser bucket, but the dispenser motor doesn't even make a noise when pressing the dispenser lever. The mechanism spins freely and the "paddle" turns easily by hand in the icebox itself which means it isn't "stuck", but it's either not getting power or the switch isn't working? Any ideas?
