I replaced a broken display but now it won't take a charge

I successfully replaced the full display. After reassembling I plugged charger back in and it won't charge. No light at all. The battery is completely dead so it won't turn on either

Options

Sounds like you didn't properly reconnect the I/O board, or damaged said board or one of its cables, during reassembly.
