iPhone 5c not booting up after flex cable replacement
I took out the screen and the flex cables as I have before when I worked on any other iphone, remove the battery terminal flex, and replaced the flex cable. The phone was having issues where the battery was draining fast, and it wouldn't charge unless the phone was completely shut down. So I replaced the the flex cable and now the phone shows no active on the screen or anything at all. Is there something that I missed here?
Is this a good question?

I'm a bit confused on which cable you replaced. Did you replace the Charging port, the battery or just a cable? My first thing would be to retrace my steps. Is it possible that one of the flex cables are not seated completely or correctly? What did you use to unseat the cables? Could you have accidentally knocked off or dislodged a component?
Just touch base with what part you replaced and the steps taken to replace it.
If you could mention if you removed the battery after taking off the screen and if you paid attention to the screw placement after connecting LCD and shield.

I already see what they did here. They replaced the battery, and it's sounding like they didn't remove the display while doing so, and have damaged the display cables. I'm certain you can take it from here @teetopp

ty @theimedic , I thought the first thing he said he did was to remove the screen and flex cables as he did in all repairs, then removed battery...wasn't sure if it would be backlight but was probing to see what was removed and in what order. I'm waiting on a 5c screen as we speak :)

If it's backlight hold a flashlight over the display while the phone is on
