Laptop won't connect to network settings

My laptop does this occasionally where it won't show any network connections and I try to troubleshoot it and it says that there were no problems found, but still I can't connect to the wifi, it won't even give me choices to connect to the wifi. Usually I can restart my laptop and eventually the network connections come back up with wifi choices, however I have restarted it multiple times this time and yet it still shows no network connections. I left it alone for a while, let it sit a couple hours turned off and charged it. I have no idea why it won't show any wifi settings. My wifi has not been changed at my house and there are no problems with any other of the laptops/computers.

You can go to Device Manager than under Network Adaptors see if you have any drivers installed and if you do right click on each and see if any are disabled. On the start menu search type Device Manager then follow the steps I mentioned hope this helps

Try pressing the function key and F#, this toggles the wireless on or off.

Just tried that, all it did was turn airplane mode on/off and airplane mode was previously off anyways

Sorry, should have been F3 not F#.

Is this something that only happens at your place or will the machine randomly lock the WiFi card? If the last is true, you may have a faulty WiFi card.

Can you access the internet through a wired connection?
