Why is there a gray line on my tv moniter?

So, I've had this gray line on my monitor for a few days now. I've tried looking for solutions now but no luck. As stated, I have a XPS 8910 as my tower. I also am using a roku tv as a moniter by HDMI (and I checked the cables, bought new ones, no difference).

It could be your TV, so try a different HDMI slot and different device.

If you still see it on a different HDMI but not on a different device, your video card is failing or has a bad HDMI slot. You can fix this by replacing it, or just trying another output. If it has DVI a DVI to HDMI adapter is also available, so try your DVI slot. If a different output doesn't fix it either, then you will need a new video card. Write in the comments what current card you have.

Hope this helps!

I have a GTX 750 Ti. Also, I already tried putting it on other HDMI slots but it still shows up.

Replacement should run about $80 for that exact model. Alternatively you could get a GT 1030 for $70. Or step up and get a GTX 1050 for $110.

I should add though that some games get rid of the line entirely. Like Star Wars Battlefront II. So, I am not to sure. I aslo tried screwing around with the resolution but it made it worse.
